The Sacred Valley produces an idyllic year-round climate with abundant sunshine and fresh air. The area is perfect for horseback riding, hiking, rafting and other activities.

Near the Sonesta Posada are the craft markets of Pisac and Chincheros, the Salt Mines of Maras, the town of Moray, Ollantaytambo, and the ruins of Machu Picchu.
