Karen Wilson, a certified Light Body practitioner, is the Master’s Program Coordinator for the Healing the Light Body School. Karen works with new students, current students and graduates to assist them in furthering their work on the medicine path through the Master’s Course Curriculum options. Karen looks forward to sharing her passion for this work with students and discussing how these classes have enriched her life and developed her client skills.

For those of us in the northern hemisphere, summer is drawing to a close. Vacations and time spent with family and friends as well as the abundance of the season, has brought a renewed sense of vitality as we prepare for the harvest. As you look ahead to the upcoming season, we invite you to consider embarking on or continuing your journey of growth and opportunity through The Healing the Light Body School curriculum. To help deepen your understanding of our programming, this months newsletter features an “in depth” look into the Four Winds, Master’s Courses. The Master's classes teach skills that allow you to live at a “level of mastery” in your daily life. Whether you are currently enrolled in the HLB program or are interested in starting on this path, classes are now open for registration.

The dictionary defines mastery as “great skillfulness and knowledge of some subject or activity”. The Master classes taught at with The Four Winds offer participants the opportunity to gain knowledge, skillfulness and mastery of the wisdom teachings. The ancient shamans of the America’s understood that when we change our perception of the world, the world around us changes. These medicine men and women, were able to perceive and track in all domains, the visible and invisible, in order to bring balance back to life.
The HLB School's Master's classes explore these teachings and provide important tools to enhance your knowledge of the ancient wisdom of the medicine way; deepening your ability to shift the luminous architecture that effects all levels in which we engage - body, mind, soul and Spirit.
Master's classes may be taken individually or as part of our HLB and Advanced Curriculum packages. We offer both foundational classes for those just beginning their journey and advanced classes for those students who are looking to deepen their training and client work.

Following is an overview of our three foundational Master's classes, these classes are required for HLB certification as an energy medicine practitioner.
No prior experience is necessary to enroll.
We live in a world where power is constantly being abused and misused and where we must be vigilant to protect ourselves and our loved ones from the fear and negativity around us. In this course you will learn to walk through life with protection and light, to bring peace and beauty to everyone you touch. You will study the practices for undoing sorcery and neutralizing the negativity, envy, jealousy, and harm that might be directed against us and our loved ones, or that we may be calling upon ourselves.
In this class you learn how the archetypes, the gods of old, still inform and guide all human activity. You will learn to work with the ancient myths and the forces of nature to guide the course of your destiny. With the aid of fairy tales, Jungian archetypes, shamanic storytelling, journeying, quantum physics, the tarot, and dream analysis, you learn how archetypal forces inform your life. You will learn to use archetypal analysis and energies to heal yourself and others, and to design mythic maps that can guide you, and your clients, in a sacred life-journey.
Divination is the art of recognizing and aligning oneself with the signs of destiny. You will learn to read the signs provided to us by nature, randomness, and chance events. Shamanic seeing is the learned ability to perceive the luminous world of energy and spirit. You will discover ancient tools to awaken the shaman’s way of seeing. You will learn to sense the energy vortexes, or chakras, as well as develop the skills and tools for tracking and divination. During this week you will open the doors of perception to discover the luminous world of energy and spirit that surrounds us, and awaken the dormant seer within.

In Reading the Signs of Destiny, you will discover the ancient tools that awaken the shaman's way of seeing. Our latest class was held in Park City, Utah, July 27 - August 1st. Led by Lynn Berryhill, a Healing the Light Body Sr. Staff member, students learned to read the signs provided by nature, randomness and chance events.

For hundreds of years, Chile has been the land of the "machis" or medicine women. The machis are from the Mapuche people that were never conquered by the Inka or the Spanish. These medicine women have spent decades, led by a deep inner guidance to bring forth the earth's Kundalini energy into the high Andes mountains of Chile. This rise and shift of this earth's energy it is said, "will soon affect the hearts of all mankind".
Four Winds, Sr. Staff member, Marcela Lobos is a medicine woman and native of Chile. Marcela's work is infused by this feminine tradition and she is recognized by the machis as one of their own. Marcela will be leading a small group of people on an expedition in her native land, October 11th - 20th.
