The human brain took an evolutionary quantum leap 150,000 years ago with the development of the neo-cortex or 'new brain', that gave us the possibility to break free from the brutish, violent and fearful existence of our predecessors.

Yet fear remains one of the strongest driving forces of human behavior. The fear of God, the fear of loss, the fear of illness. To over-ride the fear programed into our most ancient mammalian brain, nature gave us the pre-frontal lobes, a structure that allows us to practice wisdom and compassion.

In this talk we will learn how shamans access these extraordinary qualities to thrive during times of fear like today.
