THE ALCHEMY OF THE MEDICINE WHEEL AND HEALING THE LIGHT BODY

The medicine wheel is the legendary journey an initiate goes on to become a person of wisdom and knowledge. It is a powerful journey of transformation – an alchemic process that turns old wound and disempowering stories into gifts of old and potent medicine. This extraordinary quest begins as you respond to Spirit’s call and leap with fearlessness into the unknown in search of your calling and soul. There, Spirit meets you and your life becomes a a mythic journey of co-creation.

The Four Winds Society’s Medicine Wheel and Healing the Light Body (HLB) training offer an exquisite opportunity for personal and global transformation. So much more than a program, or series of classes, the training is a journey of alchemy around the medicine wheel. The four directions and three master’s level courses are designed to support the healing process of shedding what no longer serves and clearing the table for spirit.

In the South direction, students follow the Serpent path – shedding and healing their personal past. The West direction takes the healing deeper to work with the shadow and to address karmic and genetic patterns. After the voices of the past are quieted, students are free to step into the circle and claim their seat that has always been held for them. In the East, students face their death so they can be present for another and learn the steps to dream the world into being as a visionary.

The HLB portion of each direction teaches processes that help to heal the luminous energy field (LEF). In the South, you discover the Illumination process, which brings healing to the imprints of karma and disease held in the LEF. In the West, you learn the Extraction process, which removes intrusive energies that are toxic to clients. The North covers instruction on Soul Retrieval – a process by which crucial life force is returned to clients and they are freed from limiting contracts. The fourth direction, the East, teaches the Great Death Rites, the ancient maps to the afterlife.

The three required Masters Classes expand and refine the tools learned in the Four Directions. Walking with Protection deepens the work with the shadow and explores various protections from sorcery – from another or oneself. Reading the Signs of Destiny teaches many divination techniques that heighten your perception and tracking for your clients. (Advanced Divination or a ten day Peru journey can be substituted for Reading the Signs of Destiny). In Working with the Sacred, our last required Masters Class, you learn to use the ancient archetypal forces to support and guide your mythic journey and those of your clients.

Linda Fitch, Dean of the HLB, will teach the South class in Park City, Utah from January 23-28. From February 14-20, we will begin our first ever HLB training in the Southeast. This South will be held at Palm Key Retreat Center, located in the breathtakingly beautiful low country of South Carolina. Senior Staff Deborah Wray and Victoria Johnson will co-lead this class. Senior Staff Jeanette Mantel will lead the South class beginning on February 6 in Chieming- Hart Germany.
