The Medicine Wheel is taught within the Light Body School. It is an exploration into the nature of time, energy, and the essential self, the mystery teachings that can be known but not told. The shaman believes that only by stepping outside of time can we experience the mystery of creation and the beauty of our lives. You will receive the rites of passage and initiation into the shaman’s way.

The Medicine Wheel is more than an anthropological curiosity – it is a map to the rediscovery of our personal and planetary soul. When we discover the way of the peaceful warrior we have no further need for enemies. When we discover the way of the visionary we no longer need to weave the future with the frayed threads of the past.

This program is designed for persons who wish to learn the mystery teachings of shamanism without enrolling in the full Light Body curriculum. The South, West, North and East classes are three days each. Reading the Signs of Destiny, Walking with Protection in the World and Working with the Sacred may be taken at any time during the program.

South: The shaman sheds the past and their worn-out stories the way the serpent sheds her skin. You transform your deepest wounds into sources of power and compassion, and this becomes the basis of your power to heal. You are initiated into lineage of luminous medicine men and women.

Reading the Signs of Destiny: The shaman reads the signs provided by nature, randomness, and chance events. Study the art of shamanic seeing and learn to perceive the world of energy
and spirit, heeding the cautions and seizing the opportunities that Spirit offers us.

West: The shaman breaks free from the grip of fear and is able to journey beyond death. As you shed the familial baggage you inherited, you break free from the generational curses that are passed down from parent to child. You discover the way of the Luminous Warrior, and the practice of impeccability and integrity, which allow you to create and live in a world of peace.

Walking with Protection in the World: You study the shamans' practices of intent, tracking and dreaming to attain wisdom and liberation. You learn how you can walk through life with protection and light, bringing peace and beauty to everyone around you.

North: The shaman learns how to journey to Infinity, a place outside of time and space. You discover your timeless essence and drop your limiting roles and beliefs. You master the three wisdom teachings of Invisibility, Mastery of Time, and the Secret.

Working with the Sacred: The shaman dances in realms that most fear to tread. Explore the ancient myths and forces that guide your dreams, your archetypes, and your life journey, as you bring your life into harmony in order to live your destiny.

East: The shaman knows how to “dream the world into being” by discerning how energy and intention create reality. With the New Rite you discover the maps to the afterlife described by the great spiritual traditions and learn how to assist a loved one on their final journey.
