The Medicine Wheel is more than an anthropological curiosity – it is a map to the rediscovery of our personal and planetary soul. When we discover the way of the peaceful warrior we have no further need for enemies. When we discover the way of the visionary we no longer need to weave the future with the frayed threads of the past.

This program is designed for persons who wish to learn the mystery teachings of shamanism without enrolling in the full Light Body curriculum. The classes are three days each (sessions 1-4) and then three five-day courses (sessions 5-7).

The Medicine Wheel is an exploration into the nature of time, energy, and the essential self. The shaman believes that only by stepping outside of time can we experience the mystery of creation and the beauty of our lives. You will receive the rites of passage and initiation into the shaman’s way, and learn the mystery teachings that can be known but not told. Sessions five through seven may be taken at any time during the program.

MW1- The First Insight

A way of personal healing where we learn to shed the past the way the serpent sheds her skin. You begin transforming your wounds into sources of power and compassion. receive the rites that link you to a lineage of medicine men and women.

MW2 -The Second Insight
Teaches us to step beyond fear and violence to become the luminous warrior who has no enemies in this world or the next. We learn to practice peace by becoming peace.

MW3 -The Third Insight
Teaches the ways of the ancient ones. The lessons are the practice of invisibility, mastery of time, and learning to step outside of time into infinity.

The way of the visionary. We learn how to “dream the world into being,” how energy and vision create form and manifestation.

SESSION FIVE:
MW5 –Soul Retrieval

This course teaches shamanic practices for recovering the essential self that has been lost as a result of trauma. You will learn to journey to the lower world and visit the four chambers of the Soul. Journeying allows you to discover the soul contracts made by your client, sometimes even before they were born; to claim their passion and bliss; and to discover the gifts and treasures they can bring into the world. This is a practical, powerful training you can use in your personal and professional life. (HLB 03 may be substituted)

SESSION SIX:
MW6 - Reading the Signs of Destiny
Divination is the art of recognizing and aligning oneself with the signs of destiny. You will learn to read the signs provided to us by nature, randomness, and chance events. Shamanic seeing is the learned ability to perceive the luminous world of energy and spirit. You will discover ancient tools to awaken the shaman’s way of seeing. You will learn to sense the energy vortexes, or chakras, as well as develop the skills and tools for tracking and divination. During this week you will open the doors of perception to discover the luminous world of energy and spirit that surrounds us, and awaken the dormant seer within. (a 10 day Peru Expedition or Advanced Divination may be substituted as session seven)

SESSION SEVEN:
MW7 - Walking with Protection in the World
We live in a world where power is constantly being abused and misused, and where we must be vigilant and protect ourselves and our loved ones from the fear and negativity around us. In this course you will learn to walk through life with protection and light, and to bring peace and beauty to everyone you touch. You will study the practices for undoing sorcery and neutralizing the negativity, envy, jealousy, and harm that might be directed against us and our loved ones, or that we may be calling upon ourselves.
