We are so pleased that you are interested in joining The Four Winds Society in our Master’s Course, Munay-Ki. This course will be held February 22-27, 2010 in Joshua Tree, California. The class will be taught by Senior Staff Victoria Johnson with the Laika Elders.

The Munay-Ki is part of our Mastery of the Medicine Teachings Curriculum and can be used as one of the requirements for the Way of the Sage Program.

This course is a special opportunity to work with the Laika Elders. Anyone who has had the privilege to spend time with the Elders knows, first hand, that it is their joy and a fulfillment of their destiny to bestow these gifts to us. It is our deep desire that you come and take advantage of this rare opportunity.

For years the prophecies of the ancient Americas have spoken about the possibility of a new human appearing on the planet – one who lives free of fear and resides in his or her transcendent nature. Munay-Ki are the luminous codes for the new human. They are delivered in the form of energetic transmissions. The ninth, and final rite, was delivered in the summer of 2006 by the Laika Elders in the Holy Mountains of the Andes.

Location: This session will be at the Joshua Tree Spiritual Retreat Center in Joshua Tree, California. This beautiful location high in the desert will offer us the privacy and peaceful atmosphere for learning and healing. Joshua Tree is 30 miles north and 3,000 feet higher than Palm Springs, and 20 degrees cooler! We will have spacious rooms to work in, surrounded by windows and sweeping desert vistas.

There will be a large salad bar and lots of vegetarian choices. All bedding, linens and towels are supplied. If you have specific dietary needs or physical limitations that need to be considered please let them know so they can accommodate those needs as much as possible.

If a single is necessary, then you will need to contact a local hotel. Joshua Tree Retreat can supply you with a list of local hotels. Camping at Joshua Tree Retreat Center is not available at this time. Joshua Tree National Park is close by for campers. When you register for the program, you must also register with the venue, even if you stay off-site. A walk-on fee applies and meals are also available for those staying off-site.

Program Registration: Please fill out the enclosed registration form and application; include your $300 deposit. The individual session cost is $1,450 (including the deposit). Class begins the first day of the session at 3 pm. Registration begins at 1 pm. The session ends at 12 noon of the last day.

What to Bring: Come prepared to do evening fire ceremony and outdoor explorations. Plan accordingly to the season and the site location. You may need to bring a coat or jacket, boots, raingear, a flashlight, etc. Wear comfortable clothes, as much of the work is done on the floor. Chairs are available for those who need them.
